Antique
Tartan Ware Tape Measure
McDuff * Circa
1880
This
little Tartan ware tape measure was
made by the W. & A.
Smith
Co. of Mauchline, Scotland in the 3rd to 4th quarter of the 19th
century. The silk tape is original and complete and is marked in inches. The knob on top
winds the tape back in and works perfectly.
The tartan is in almost mint condition
with no damage and barely a scuff.
It’s
gold
stamped on the top with the name “McDuff” and
measures 1 3/8″ high by 7/8″ in diameter.
I stand behind
everything that I offer and
guarantee
that it is exactly as
presented.
