Vintage Kraft 1955 Swanky Swigs Juice Glasses-Bachelor Button Design – Set of 4
Great Set of 4 Kraft Brand Swanky Swig Juice Glasses with the Popular Bacherlor Button Design. Introduced in 1955, this set came with red and white flowers and green leaves. They came in 3 sizes depending on what size Kraft Cheese Spread you were buying such as Kraft Olive Pimento, Relish, Roka Blue, Pimeto, Pineapple and Old English. These were fun to collect and were used as juice glasses once they were empty and kids loved and still love drinking their morning juice out of these. Interested enough, they were originally labeled as just “tumblers or “Swanky swigs”, which had a strong party connection and Kraft thought they would be thought of cocktails glasses. So they decided not to describe them as “cocktail” glasses and more of a nice decorated drinking glass. These little “Swanky Swigs” quickly became one of the greatest premium offers in merchandising history.
This Set of 4 glasses stand 3 3/4″ tall and 2 1/8″ wide at the top rim. They are in very good used condition free of any chips or cracks.
